Agape

You have to walk carefully in the beginning of love; the running across fields into your lover’s arms can only come later when you’re sure they won’t laugh if you trip. Love, love, love. It’s odd that the Greeks have 3 different words to express love; philia, agape, and eros, but we Americans only have one. In the English language the word love is used to describe feelings about everything from our husbands, to our favorite TV show, to our favorite activity. In Greek, philia is companionship love; agape is the pure unconditional form of love; eros is sensual love.…

Hopeless Romantic or As You Wiiiiish

We all know I am big nerd. I am also a big romantic and I fall hard for imaginary couples on TV. My husband thinks it is sweet and hugs me when I get sappy and cry over love stories. Well, he laughs at me too. What I Learned From My Wedding

(1) Never put your dress on before having your makeup done. I never wear makeup so I had someone else do it for me. She shook up the liquid foundation and the lid decided to pop off. Yep, the makeup squirted all down my gorgeous white dress. Praise God that it came out with Shout-Out. (2) Always make sure the ink theft device is removed before you leave a clothing store.  My mother-in-law bought her dress in her hometown, 3 hours away. She noticed when she was getting ready to put it on before the wedding that the ink device…
